For those of you wondering what the Nike advertisement in The Metro a few weeks ago was all about, here’s your answer: Nike SB will be closing Bay 66 skatepark in West London next week for a large-scale refurbishment. Next Thursday, June 21st, is Go Skateboarding Day and will see the last session at the park before it closes. There will be free entry all day and Nike SB riders such as Sean Malto, Youness Amrani, Lewis Marnell, Wieger Van Wageningen will be skating various London parks and street spots throughout the day before a final demo at the park.
You will need to follow Nike SB on Twitter and Instagram to find out where they are during the day. More information on the refurbishment on the new Bay 66 Facebook page.
