Youth of Yangon teaser

We were lucky enough to be present for the premiere of Youth of Yangon in Myanmar last week, and if you happen to be passing through Yangon, you can still catch screenings tonight and tomorrow night at 7.30pm. More information here.

Youth of Yangon is a short documentary from James Holman and Ali Drummond, the filmmakers behind the popular Altered Focus: Burma documentary, which takes an updated look at the skateboarders of Yangon and the struggles they face. The film will be entered into various film festivals before being released through hotknees.com

Issue 11 of Grey, which features portraits of some of the skateboarders of Yangon and an interview with Ali Drummond, will be online very soon.
